Upcoming Open-er

Dartmouth Relays coming up this week. Should be a fun meet, a season opener a lot of us.
Running the 800 -- me and Ben Bray
Running the mile -- Dan Anastos, Devon Holgate, Kerwin.
I have to check which of our girls are running, and what events.

Ran a 7x400, 2x200 workout with Devon and Ben yesterday,
66,65,65,64,64,63,63, 28,28
Considering the 2 minute rest in between intervals, I would say it was my best workout of the season so far, and one of my best 400 workouts I've run in college.
Should be exciting.

Not expecting much out of this 800m race this weekend. I'm not sharp yet, so this race is more about just experiencing track racing again, and getting my body to understand the feeling of track racing. This is important, because the effort involved is much different than the effort of running an 8k on cross country, the pain is a lot more intense, and the style of racing is much more aggressive; which I like... but for some people it takes a while to get used to this kind of racing. I'm excited to race, even if it won't be the fastest 800m I'll run.

Special congrats goes to Dan Darcy of Bentley. He's been a long time friend of our team, and one of my co-workers currently at Marathon Sports. He ran 4:10 at the BU mini meet this past weekend. A Huge PR. Congrats Dan!
